Enclosure Cooling FAQ

  • Axial fans: Suitable for large air volume and low pressure scenarios, such as general ventilation in electrical cabinets.
  • Centrifugal fans: Suitable for high pressure environments, such as air delivery in ducts or cooling in enclosed equipment.
  • Fans with filters: Used in environments with dust or particles, such as factory workshops or outdoor applications. When selecting a fan, you need to consider the equipment’s heat dissipation requirements, space size, dust concentration, and budget.

Use the formula , where P is the total power, C is the specific heat of air, and ΔT is the allowable temperature rise. Influencing factors include equipment heat generation, air duct resistance, filter permeability and installation location. Please drop us email about all the factors, we will select for you.

Noise sources include fan speed, airflow turbulence and equipment resonance. Evaluation method:
  1. Noise level test: Test the sound pressure level according to ISO 3744 standard.
  2. Installation optimization: Install the fan on the side of the equipment away from the operator, and add sound insulation to reduce transmission.

Make sure the fan meets the IEC 61000-6-2 standard. When selecting, check whether the fan has a built-in filter or shielding structure. It is recommended to choose a higher level of anti-interference design for industrial environments.

  • Filtration efficiency: The efficiency of ordinary filters is 80%-90%, and the efficiency of high-efficiency filters can reach 99%.
  • Replacement cycle: It is determined by the ambient particle concentration. It is recommended to check monthly and replace the filter in time when it is blocked.

Use PWM speed control module or integrated thermostat to achieve automatic synchronous control, ensure consistent air volume and speed, and avoid airflow conflicts.

Indoor equipment: IP34 and above;

Outdoor equipment: IP55 and above, to ensure dust and water resistance. Check the test report when purchasing to ensure that the certification is authentic and valid.

The service life of the Leipole fans are normally over 30,000 hours upto 50,000 hours depending on the different types, and key components such as bearings need to be lubricated regularly; check the dust accumulation on the blades and the noise of the bearings to ensure normal operation.

The fan can be equipped with a variable frequency module to adjust the speed through temperature or humidity signals to achieve more accurate energy saving effects.

According to the cabinet heat dissipation requirements, the formula is: Q=K×A×(ΔTio)
K: thermal conductivity; A: surface area; ΔTio: temperature difference between the inside and outside of the cabinet.

UV protection treatment, and IP55 and above protection level are required. It is recommended to install low-temperature start protection in cold areas.

Check the cleanliness of the condenser and the refrigerant pressure every quarter to ensure good ventilation; conduct a comprehensive inspection every six months.

EER = Cooling capacity (BTU/h) ÷ Power input (W). The EER of high-efficiency products is usually above 3.0.

The common control range is ±5℃, and some high-precision models can reach ±1℃.

The distance between the radiator outlet and the obstacle must be greater than 30cm, and maintenance space must be reserved in the cabinet.

Use a unified PLC or intelligent control system to achieve load balancing and standby machine switching.

Enlocusre Heating/Thermostat/Hygrostat FAQ

PTC: Power is self-adjusted with temperature changes, energy-saving and durable.

Fixed resistance: Stable output but high energy consumption, suitable for constant heating needs.

According to the formula: P=1.2×V×ΔT
V: Cabinet volume; ΔT: Target temperature difference.

Avoid the heater near cables or flammable materials and maintain good ventilation.

Built-in bimetallic protection switch or thermal fuse to prevent overheating.

The common setting range is 0-60℃.

Perform calibration every 1-2 years to ensure control accuracy, especially in scenarios with high environmental requirements.

Voltage Transformer FAQ

Power capacity: Consider the load power plus a safety margin (generally 1.25 times).

Output voltage: Need to match the load equipment requirements.

Frequency: Confirm the input power frequency (50Hz or 60Hz).

JBK2/JBK3: General industrial occasions;

JBK5: Medium high temperature environment;

JBK6/JBK7: Suitable for high temperature or harsh environment.

Measure the no-load loss and load loss according to the IEC 60076 standard, and the efficiency is generally greater than 95%.

The short-term overload capacity is 1.2 times the rated value. Continuous overload will shorten the service life.

The standard operating temperature is -10℃ to +40℃. High or low temperature models are required for extreme environments.

Temperature, voltage fluctuations and operating load have the greatest impact on life. Under normal maintenance, the service life is 15-20 years.

Busbar System FAQ

The current range of the connector is generally 100A to 2000A. When selecting, confirm the actual load demand and safety margin.

Copper: Excellent conductivity, suitable for high-load scenarios.

Tinned copper: good corrosion resistance, suitable for high humidity environments.

Follow the torque standards in the product specifications to avoid over-tightening to cause thread damage or over-loosening to cause poor contact.

Check whether the connection is loose every quarter, clean dust and corrosion, and perform a comprehensive thermal scan once a year.

Tin or nickel plating ensures long-term stability in humid or corrosive environments.

Enclosure Accessories FAQ

According to the standard: the total cross-sectional area of the cable should be less than 40%-60% of the cross-sectional area of the cable trough, leaving space for heat dissipation and maintenance.

DIN rails must comply with the EN 60715 standard, and steel or aluminum rails should be selected according to the actual total load weight.

The resistance of all grounding points should be less than 5Ω, and a grounding resistance tester should be used for regular inspection.

Color temperature range: 4000K-6000K, providing comfortable working lighting.

Voltage compatibility: matching control voltage (12V/24V/220V).

LED lamps usually have a lifespan of 50,000 to 100,000 hours, depending on factors such as heat dissipation, power supply stability and ambient temperature.

Make sure the lamps are firmly installed to avoid loosening due to vibration.

The lamp wiring must meet the IP protection level to prevent dust or moisture from intrusion.

There must be a certain amount of heat dissipation space around the lamp to avoid overheating.

Use IP protection level test to simulate spray and dust environment test to ensure that the sealing performance meets the design.

The material should meet UL 94 V-0 or higher and be suitable for high temperature or fire risk environments.

Dust test: Use dust particles of standard particle size to simulate and detect whether the interior is intruded.

Waterproof test: Perform spray or immersion test in accordance with IEC 60529 standard to ensure that the design level is met.

Brightness (lumen output): Choose the appropriate lumen value according to the space inside the distribution cabinet or equipment to ensure sufficient lighting.

Power consumption: Choose LED lamps with a high lumen/watt ratio to improve energy efficiency.

Color temperature: It is recommended to choose 4000K (neutral white light) or 6000K (cold white light) to provide better visibility.

Mounting method: Choose magnetic, clip-on or fixed mounting methods according to the cabinet design.

Voltage compatibility: Make sure it matches the power supply of the cabinet (such as 12V, 24V, 230V).

Cable entry plates are used in high-density wiring scenarios to achieve fast cable entry, sealing protection and strain relief, while providing flexible cable management solutions.

Choice criteria include:

-Number of cables:Make sure the entry plate supports the required number and size of cables.

– Protection level: Select the appropriate IP level (such as IP54/IP66/IP68) according to environmental conditions.

– Installation method:Determine whether it supports snap-on, threaded fixing or slide rail installation.

– Material requirements: Confirm whether high temperature resistant, corrosion resistant or flame retardant materials are required.

– IP54: Dust and splash proof, suitable for ordinary indoor environments.

– IP66: Prevents strong water flow intrusion, suitable for humid or dusty industrial environments.

– IP68: Completely waterproof, suitable for outdoor or diving environments.

Yes, some threading plates adopt a snap-on design, which can be quickly installed without additional tools, saving time and improving installation efficiency.

– Make sure that the cable fits tightly with the threading hole during installation to avoid air or water leakage.

– Check the sealing material regularly for aging or damage, and replace it if necessary.

– Plastic (such as PA6 or TPU): Lightweight, suitable for general industrial environments.

– Metal (such as stainless steel or aluminum alloy): Suitable for occasions requiring high strength or corrosion resistance.

– Elastic material (such as silicone): Provides better sealing and tensile properties.

The life of the threading plate depends on the material, the use environment and the installation situation. In a normal industrial environment, a high-quality threading plate can be used for more than 10 years.

– Make sure that the threading plate matches the size of the cabinet opening to avoid poor sealing.

– Do not over-compress the sealing material during installation to avoid affecting the sealing performance.

– Use the recommended installation torque value to avoid damage to the fixing parts or threads.

– Avoid installing in areas that are susceptible to external impact or severe vibration.

– In a humid environment, the installation location should be slightly above the water level to avoid long-term immersion in water.

– Ensure that there is enough space around to facilitate later maintenance and cable replacement.
